This beautiful face has been in the world nine wonderful months. Adalyn continues to be the joy of Eric and I's life. She is such a sweet, funny, smart and easy going girl and we can't imagine our lives or family without her. We spent half of her 9th month in New Zealand, seeing friends, playing in the ocean, hiking and being together, and I can honestly say, this girl is the best international traveling baby I have ever seen! She is flexible and willing to "go" wherever and whenever we go, and usually with a big two tooth smile. This month, she has mastered eating more than just purees, she loves sausage, strawberries, salmon, bread, avocados and tortilla chips. She wants to feed herself and is happy to drink from a big girl cup. She is starting to get mobile, pushing backwards on her tummy and starting to get up on all fours. I know it's super important for her to crawl, but she is determined to stand up on her own and I don't think it will be long until she is walking, but please, I hope she crawls first! Adi is a chatty Cathy. This girl LOVES to talk, even if she can't put together full words she will tell you all about it, in her own language and at her preferred volume, which I call American (aka loud). I can see how open her language center is right now, she's a little sponge! Here are a few of our favorite pictures from this month and a few videos as well! Enjoy!
